This Tai Chi Dao's first third of the blade is thicker than the rest for strength in parrying and the last third exhibiting excellent flexibility, this lighter version of the Tai Chi Dao is just right for everyday practice and competitions. 

The handle is fitted with a traditional brass s-shaped guard and pommel ring. Engraved Chinese characters and a yin-yang symbol on the blade complete the package.

Tai Chi Dao (tai chi broadsword) possess a much gentler taper than the traditional Shaolin-style broadswords.
